Tusker Safari Sevens

The 1st Team traveled to Kenya over the past week-end to take part in the Tusker Safari Sevens. They played very well winning the Plate Final.
The Hamilton Raiders went ahead through Willie Pieterse, Dustin Jinka converted. Brian Nyikuli scored a Captains try for Chairmans but Nato Simiyu missed the conversion.
7-5 Raiders.
Chairmans won a penalty after relentless pressure but failed to turn possession into points. Stephan du Toit scored a second Raiders try right on half time which Dustin Jinka converted.
14-5 Raiders.
In the second half, the game started out as a largely midfield affair. Raiders won possession and continued to attack. Terry Jacobs scored Raiders third try. Dustin Jinka missed the conversion.
19-5 Raiders.
